Creators are critical to Instagram’s success. They shape public opinion, drive culture and are the present and future of entertainment. What they want is to spend all of their time exercising their talent and producing content. In order to do so, they need a platform to help pay the bills. The Creator Monetization team builds products to do just that, help creators both large and small turn their passion into a living through a diverse portfolio of products from live user pay, branded content, shopping and video ads. This is a new muscle for Instagram and a top product priority. We are looking for a Data Scientist that wants to help drive the long-term strategy for revenue sharing, making it a core part of our monetization portfolio. Revenue sharing on video ads is a powerful way to help creators earn an income and rewarding them for the engaging video content they make. If you thrive in mature environments and scaled teams, this is not the role for you. If you do best in 0-to-1 spaces and transforming an idea into a set of products that you will into existence, this is going to be a fun role.
