Brand Marketing Manager, Creator Marketing (Instagram)

Instagram's Creator Marketing team seeks an experienced individual to drive brand marketing efforts for the creator audience globally. In this role, you will be responsible for driving brand excellence and shaping the Instagram creators brand, as we deliver on supporting digital creators and public figures turn their passion into a living on our platform. You will be working on foundational brand work such as brand strategy, brand positioning, and brand identity, as well as some work on global brand marketing programs. A high level of communication and project management skills are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to work across matrixed, cross-functional teams. Previous experience working across a global org that moves quickly and flexing for the needs of different regions/markets would be ideal. A successful candidate will need to combine strategic-thinking and a hands-on approach to execute on high-impact, high-leverage work. You are passionate about building brands and will have a track record of producing best-in-class brand strategies and creative work.   • Drive the development and strategy for Instagram Creators brand, in collaboration with Consumer and Business Marketing, and wider Facebook Family Brand teams.
  • Lead and execute on day-to-day foundational brand work such as value proposition, research, sentiment tracking and competitive analysis.
  • Support go-to-market execution for brand campaigns and industry marketing programming.
  • Oversee brand activations in priority markets
  • initiatives that can be localized and used by teams to inspire, educate and engage our creator and Partnerships audience.
  • Curate market and global trends that will inform and inspire strategies, teams and global marketing work.
  • Work with cross-functional counterparts including Partnerships, Sales, Communications and Product to align strategy, messaging and resources.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum BA/BS degree (or equivalent professional experience in brand marketing or brand strategy)
  • 6+ years experience in brand marketing at a media, entertainment or consumer lifestyle brand connected with youth culture
  • Experience in brand strategy, as well as executional experience
  • Collaboration and communication skills, with demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing a brand to creators/influencers, or working with creators in brand marketing programs
  • Experience with localization and working with global teams
  • Experience with a fast-paced environment and ambiguity
