Instagram Consumer PMM, Feed & Relevance

Instagram is looking for a Consumer Product Marketing Manager to join the Feed & Relevance team. The role will partner cross functionally to develop and launch new features that help people see more of the things they love on Instagram. The candidate is an expert consumer marketer and will define positioning, and drive integrated go-to-market strategy and execution for Feed & Relevance features. The ideal candidate is both an analytical and creative thinker, cares deeply about the Instagram mission, and is a highly collaborative cross functional leader. This candidate has a successful track record of building, launching, and scaling consumer products. They will have successfully influenced product roadmaps, represented the consumer across the product lifecycle, and led complex cross-functional initiatives.


  • Develop product positioning and messaging for Feed and Relevance features, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape, and wider business implications
  • Influence product strategy and in-product communications through relevant consumer insights, product acumen, and driving alignment across teams
  • Develop the overarching launch strategy, including rollout sequencing, creative asset development, and communication goals to best drive awareness and adoption while mitigating risks
  • Execute go-to-market plans by collaborating with cross-functional teams and identifying synergies and tensions across the Instagram experience
  • Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those issues
  • Build relationships with product and business partners to influence and align plans and objectives, in order to drive impact for product and consumer audiences on cross-company initiatives
  • Organize and manage operations for multiple work streams, deadlines, and meetings for large cross-functional teams to drive execution

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience launching and growing consumer products for global consumer brands
  • BA/BS degree
  • Marketing experience working across complex product launches
  • Communication skills to diverse internal and external audiences
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on feed and/or discovery products that aim to serve relevant and personalized content to the community
