Marketing Manager, Creator Programs (Instagram)

Instagram's Creator Marketing team seeks an experienced individual to develop and manage multi-phase programs in support of helping creators grow & monetize on Instagram.

In this role, you will develop scaled programs for creators that demonstrate the value of Instagram. This will include perks & education that supports creators at each stage of maturity, from up-and-coming creators to established stars. You will collaborate with cross-functional partnerships, operations, customer service & channel marketing teams to bring these programs to life. In addition to packaging our creator support programs, you will lead Instagram’s marketing strategy to drive education & awareness of these programs within the creator community. You are passionate about supporting creators, adept at operating in a multidisciplinary role, and able to drive both strategy and execution whenever needed.

You are a seasoned marketing generalist who is just as comfortable executing a large-scale tentpole event as you are developing a full-funnel channel marketing plan. You will have a strong ability to bring products to life through great storytelling, and can engage Creator audiences through compelling communications & incentive programs.

A high level of communication & operational skills are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to drive impact at scale. A successful candidate will need to combine strategic thinking & operations with a hands on approach to execute distributed, global programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage full-funnel creator education program, overseeing scaled education, working models, channel marketing and perks programs
  • Influence and lead a multi-disciplinary & cross-functional teams across marketing, operations, customer support, partnerships & content funding to contribute to program offering
  • Lead go-to-market execution for global campaigns, programs and tentpole moments
  • Serve as subject matter expert across third-party partner ecosystem of talent agencies & networks to enable outreach to creators at scale
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies to support creator monetization products through global campaigns, programs, and tentpole moments that drive results at each stage of the marketing funnel
  • Develop partner enablement for our global media partnerships team including strategic positioning, messaging, marketing materials, case studies & thought leadership
  • Lead cross-functional channel marketing teams across social, email, web & events to scale marketing programs to the broader creator community
  • Analyze, determine and optimize the most effective channels for acquisition and retention of our partners
  • Lead internationalization of marketing efforts to drive ongoing adoption and awareness for Instagram among the global creator community, taking into account regional nuance and needs of each market

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 6+ years experience in marketing or program management at a tech, media, entertainment company or social/media agency
  • Experience overseeing partner, content funding, perks/benefits or equivalent type of program
  • Experience leading go-to-market strategy for product/program launches and scaled digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience in or knowledge of the creator economy and digital creator ecosystem
  • Collaboration and communication skills, with demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast paced, scrappy environment with experience thriving amidst ambiguity while ensuring executional excellence
  • Experience developing product positioning and key messages to support product adoption, including marketing materials such as decks, one pagers & case studies
  • Strong understanding of how creators monetize their content
  • Experience supporting or working with a large sales or partnerships organization in an enablement capacity
  • Experience with localization and working with global teams
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
  • Experience working on a technical product or platform
