Product Marketing Manager, Search Monetization (Instagram)

Within Instagram’s Business organization, the Emerging Business team has the mission to identify, build, and scale new monetization opportunities. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support the monetization of Search experiences and surfaces within Instagram. This individual will be responsible for driving product strategy for this 0>1 ad product and leading go-to-market to launch and drive adoption. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background—including strategy and analytical skills, and have some experience in consulting, go-to-market, product management, digital advertising and/or search advertising. We’re looking for strong problem solvers who are passionate about understanding the needs of businesses and influencing product roadmaps. They should be flexible and comfortable working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are a must. Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategy in partnership with product management, engineering, design, user research, and data science
  • Represent the market and influence the product roadmap through market research, competitive assessments, quantitative analysis, and qualitative feedback from brands
  • Lead and activate go-to-market plans, including coordinating and communicating the rollout of new products both internally and externally
  • Manage alpha/beta testing to ensure successful launches and to accelerate product-market fit

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 6+ years working in management consulting, investment banking, business and operations, product management, product marketing, product strategy or other analytical roles
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience influencing strategic decisions through structured frameworks, data-driven analysis, and clear recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience with go-to-market strategy
  • Experience in digital advertising, particularly search advertising
