Instagram is looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive engineering programs that deliver high quality, entertaining content across our Explore and Reels products and increase discovery for our amazing community of creators. As a TPM on Instagram Feed & Relevance, you will work closely with engineers, data scientists and product teams to build roadmaps, create frameworks and implement new technologies that empower your teams to iterate quickly. You will work horizontally to balance the concerns of entertainment, personalization and content diversity in order to evolve how Instagram connects people with their interests and helps them discover new ones. You will play a key role in making our infrastructure more reliable and scalable as we grow. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, adept at collaborating cross-functionally, has experience with large scale systems, and familiarity working with machine learning or content ranking models. This is a constantly evolving space, and the TPM is expected to be flexible and pivot based on the problems we are trying to solve. This person will be highly organized, productive, poised, and able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.
