Instagram is where creators and young people come to push culture forward. As part of the Instagram Internal Communications Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the global internal communications strategy for our diverse, creative, high energy, close knit organization. You will serve as a key counselor to Facebook company executives as we work to tell powerful stories about Instagram to our internal audiences - building moral, articulating app and company-wide strategy, building confidence and trust in leadership, and helping to make Instagram stronger for the one billion people who use it around the world by supporting our internal teams.
We are looking for someone who excels at working collaboratively, is fiercely creative, obsessed with delivering high-quality work, and who truly loves Instagram.
Candidates should be experienced communications strategists (both developing and executing), creative writers (we are not about the corporate style here), confident communicators, and fun! We’re going to be spending a lot of time together, so underline the fun part. We are looking for someone who has deep experience leading proactive internal communications programming, managing cross-functional projects and teams, influencing and driving alignment across stakeholder groups and executives, and telling complex stories in a simple and compelling way.
