We are investing in making Instagram an essential platform for businesses and brands. Marketers and people have shown interest in doing more on Instagram, whether learning about a new brand, shopping for products or downloading a mobile app. Since opening up our platform to self-serve advertising in markets around the world, introducing new ad formats and objectives to deliver performance, and building native organic tools for businesses of any size to take advantage of, we have seen over two million monthly advertisers come to Instagram and twenty-five million business profiles proliferate in our community. Beneath the platform that drives Instagram is a shared foundation of developer experiences, tools, APIs, and SDKs. This foundation gives developers and businesses access to the tools needed to manage their presence on Instagram. Instagram is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support the Instagram Core Ads Platform team, which builds our Instagram APIs, Payments, and Measurement products. This individual will be responsible for shaping the overall API and payments strategic direction, defining our go-to-market strategy, and identifying new opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background - including business strategy, product marketing and analytical skills, and have some experience with developer ecosystems or strong technical aptitude and curiosity - and be passionate about Instagram. They will also be flexible and comfortable working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment.
Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Through our family of apps and services, we're building a different kind of company that connects billions of people around the world, gives them ways to share what matters most to them, and helps bring people closer together. Whether we're creating new products or helping a small business expand its reach, people at Facebook are builders at heart. Our global teams are constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to empower people around the world to build community and connect in meaningful ways. Together, we can help people build stronger communities — we're just getting started.
