Instagram is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to build a safe, and fun product experience for amazing innovators. As a TPM on Instagram’s team, you will work closely with engineers, data scientists and product teams to build roadmaps, create frameworks and implement new technologies that empower your teams to iterate quickly. You will work horizontally to balance the concerns of safety, parental supervision, and content discovery in order to evolve how Instagram connects young people with their friends and helps them engage with their interests. You will work with multiple cross functional teams to create impact for Instagram by enabling the product team to move fast and lead various quality, efficiency, privacy and scalability initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, adept at collaborating cross-functionally, has experience with large scale systems, and familiarity working with machine learning or content ranking models. This is a constantly evolving space, and the TPM is expected to be flexible and pivot based on the problems we are trying to solve. This person will be highly organized, productive, poised, and able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.
