Reels is a new way to create and discover short, entertaining videos on Instagram. Instagram is looking for a Consumer Product Marketing Manager to join the Reels team. This role will partner with product teams to develop new features that inspire people to create and share Reels. From defining positioning, competitive analysis, and integrated go to market plans, you will help develop some of the most important features on Instagram, and inspire our community to learn and use them. The ideal candidate can drive both strategy and execution, cares deeply about Instagram’s mission, and is interested in thinking about the role short video is playing in people’s daily life. They are analytical and creative, highly collaborative, and will have a successful track record of launching and scaling consumer products. They will have a track record for influencing the product roadmap, successfully representing the consumer across the product lifecycle, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
